Artists have always looked to the natural world for inspiration and strive to capture its beauty in their paintings. The portrayal of flowers in art can range from a simple decorative still life, to an allegory for the fragility and transience of life.
With Spring in full bloom, Bert Gallery’s Field and Flower Pocket Exhibit features floral depictions from the collection, ranging from realistic still life to large format impressions of the artist’s garden. This exhibit will be on view through the end of May.
